The Year in review
2016 was a great year, I started my professional wedding photography career over 12 years ago, this was a natural progression and a dream come true. I have been able to combine the my love of photography with Art, technology and creating lasting beautiful memories with couples, I can honestly say I find that building a good relationship with the people I photograph is one of the key elements to a special photograph. Your wedding day may be one of a handful of times in your life that you choose to use a professional photographer.
I would like to thank all the people that booked with me in 2016 and for trusting myself and the Team to capture your very special day. Not only did we have the opportunity to capture some greats moments in the beautiful venues across East Yorkshire including,Skidby Mill, Tickton Grange Cave Castle, Rowley Manor,Hallmark Hotel, Mercure Hull Royal Hotel, Country park hotel and lazaat to name but but a few. The Team and Myself had the opportunity to travel further afield this year and in Summer we traveled to North Yorkshire, visiting the stunning venue of Fountains Abbey which was a landmark wedding for me, what a fantastic venue and grounds. Another lovely venue established in North Yorkshire is the Star Inn at Harome, near Helmsley which is described as more of an intimate setting for your big day.
After a fantastic Summer in and around Hull and East Yorkshire with the historic churches of Beverley and Hull including St mary’s , Beverley minster and the Holy Trinity, Hull we soon found ourselves heading towards the end of 2016, in December we visited the Hodsock Priory, Worksop, West Yorkshire which is an historic country house set in some spectacular countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and south Yorkshire our second visit there within the last few years this time for the Christening of Zachariah James Willett, it was lovely to get ask back after capturing Danny and Nicole’s wedding a number years ago to take some images of the Christening of their first child. Danny won the Masters Golf tournament in Augusta 2016 shortly after his beautiful wife Nicole gave birth to their son Zachariah a win that took him into the top ten world golf ranking for the first time.
